These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FigureWiki (the "Site"). By using the Site, creating an account, submitting catalog entries, or listing items for sale, you agree to these Terms.
1. Independent fan project
FigureWiki is an independent fan-run catalog and community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any anime licensor, figure manufacturer, or retailer.
Character names, series titles, product names, logos, and images may be trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. FigureWiki uses them only for identification, discussion, and collector reference.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for compliance with local laws.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not share credentials or impersonate others.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Catalog and user content
Users may submit figure entries, photos, comments, profile information, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant FigureWiki a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Site.
When submitting catalog entries you agree that:
- Information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Photos are official manufacturer/distributor promotional images or other material you have the right to upload.
- You will not upload duplicates, bootlegs presented as official, or misleading entries.
- You will cite sources when requested by moderators.
We may review, edit, reject, or remove User Content at any time, especially for moderation, quality, or legal reasons.
5. Marketplace listings
The marketplace lets users offer physical figures for sale. FigureWiki is a listing platform only. We are not the seller, buyer, payment processor, escrow, or shipping carrier unless explicitly stated.
- Listings must be for authentic physical items you own or control.
- Listing photos must be pictures you took of the actual item for sale. Catalog promo shots are not allowed on listings.
- Counterfeit, bootleg, or misrepresented items are prohibited.
- Buyers and sellers handle payment, shipping, and disputes directly unless we introduce separate tools later.
- We may remove listings or suspend users who violate marketplace rules.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Break any law or infringe intellectual property rights.
- Harass, spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Site.
- Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access.
- Misrepresent affiliation with FigureWiki or any rights holder.
- Use the Site to sell counterfeit goods or stolen property.
7. Intellectual property complaints
Rights holders may send copyright or trademark complaints under our Copyright Policy. We respond to valid notices and may terminate repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimers
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CATALOG DATA, PRICES, RELEASE DATES, OR USER LISTINGS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT. USE THE SITE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FigureWiki AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY TRANSACTION BETWEEN USERS.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify FigureWiki against claims arising from your User Content, listings, conduct, or violation of these Terms or third-party rights.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may be noted on the Site.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the Site operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
