FigureWiki respects intellectual property rights. We respond to valid complaints from rights holders and provide a process for users to dispute mistaken removals where applicable.
1. Fan catalog status
FigureWiki is an independent collector reference site. Product photos, character artwork, logos, and names may belong to manufacturers, licensors, distributors, or artists. We do not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property displayed on the Site.
2. What we remove
We may remove or disable access to content when we believe it:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, or publicity rights.
- Violates our Terms or marketplace rules.
- Is a counterfeit/bootleg listing or misleading duplicate entry.
- Was uploaded without sufficient rights or source.
Users can also flag figure entries with the on-page report tool. Moderators review reports separately from formal rights-holder requests.
3. Copyright takedown requests
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent, send a request with all of the following:
- Your name and contact information.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- Identification of the material on the Site to be removed, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL, figure ID, listing ID, etc.).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your request is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Send requests through our contact form and choose "Copyright infringement" as the topic.
4. Disputing a removal
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, contact us through the contact form with:
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared.
- An explanation of why you believe the material was removed in error.
- Your contact information.
We will review disputes and may restore content if the removal appears unwarranted.
5. Repeat infringement
We may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly upload infringing content or submit bad-faith requests.
6. Trademark complaints
Trademark owners may contact us through the contact form with:
- The registered mark and registration details, if applicable.
- The URL or content causing concern.
- Why the use is likely to cause confusion about source, sponsorship, or affiliation.
- Your contact information.
7. Marketplace photos
Sellers must upload only photos of the physical item they own. If a rights holder believes a listing photo infringes their copyright, submit a takedown request and include the listing URL.
8. Misuse of this process
Knowingly submitting false infringement claims may have legal consequences. Please make sure your request is accurate.
